It’s Matt Santagapita, Santa Knows Best and recently we’ve had a lot of conversation and people asking about what the real role is of a real estate agent. Back in the day before we had all this crazy technology we have today.
We used to really just help people buy and sell houses, and the truth is, it really has evolved over the years.
It’s become a much more complex role. What we’ve evolved into is more of an advisor. So you need to be well educated on legal matters, when it comes to buying selling, either our clients need help with their homes or even just giving good sound advice to our home sellers or home buyers and people investing in real estate. You’re also a Yellow Pages. You’re a Whitepages, You’re connector is what I call that. Right, I mean we’re more connected to our clients than ever through text messaging,
Facebook messaging, Instagram messaging,
Twitter all these different platforms further to that,
we’re marketers and promoters so we have to promote market not only our listings, but we also have to market and promote ourselves or our teams. We aren’t just these days sitting at open houses, you know, trying to sell homes, we’re doing a lot more in the background.
Like case and point, we’re doing video! We’re complex connectors and advisors. Use us because of the knowledge that we have and the knowledge that we acquire and the training that we do to get better to serve our clients.
