Student Home From School Gets Visit From LA Mayor, LAUSD Superintendent

ALL OF US ARE HERE FOR ONE REASON, THAT THE STUDENTS ARE SAFE AND WELCOME IN OUR SCHOOLS. AND BEING IN THE SCHOOL HIS MOST IMPORTANT PLACE TO BE. BECAUSE THAT’S WHERE THE DOORS OF OPPORTUNITY OPEN. DEMARCO: STARTED LAST YEAR WE PUT 11 PERCENT OF STUDENTS CHRONICALLY ABSENT. AND IT ENDED WE PUT ONLY 3 PERCENT. AFTER THEY CONTACTED THE STUDENTS TO MAKE SURE THE GOT CLASS. THE SUPERINTENDENTS SHOWS UP TO MAKE SURE YOU KNOW GOING TO SCHOOL.
