Lets synchronize RealtyJuggler with MailChimp.
MailChimp can be used to send email newsletters, flyers, as well Holiday email cards. To start using MailChimp, sign into RealtyJuggler,
click on the “Mail” icon, and then click on the “MailChimp Newsletter” Icon. From here, click on the MailChimp.com link
here. Log in, or sign up for a free account at MailChimp.com.
If you send less than 12,000 emails a month to fewer than 2,000 people, their service
is free. If your list is larger than that, there is
a nominal fee, but it’s really quite reasonable. Once you’ve created your MailChimp account,
log in and click on “Audience” in the upper-left corner of the screen, and then click on the
“Create Audience” button at the upper-right corner of the screen.
Fill in some simple information about your list, and click “Save” at the bottom.
Your new mailing list is ready. Next, you’ll need to give RealtyJuggler permission
to access MailChimp. To do that, click on your login name in the
upper-left corner of the MailChimp screen. Click on “Profile”, then on “Extras”, and
then select the “API Keys” menu item. Scroll down, and click on the “Create A Key”
Button. Copy the “API Key” Go to the MailChimp screen in RealtyJuggler
and click “Edit API Key…” and paste that API key into RealtyJuggler.
Make sure there are no extra spaces at the beginning or at the end, and click “OK.” Select your mailing list from the “MailChimp
List Name” drop-down. As you can see, mine is already selected. Your setup is complete, and RealtyJuggler
and MailChimp are ready to work together. Now, let’s add some RealtyJuggler contacts
to MailChimp. I’ll choose my “All Contacts Matching Show
Category” menu item, however I can select a different database if I prefer. I’ll click on the “Show Category” drop-down
in the upper-right corner of the screen and choose the “Newsletter” category which represents
all the Contacts who should receive my newsletter. In some cases, a single record might include
more than one email address. For instance, a husband and wife might each
have their own email account. You can choose whether to include all the
emails in their contact record, or just the first email using this Drop-down. Click the “Send List to MailChimp” button,
and then click “OK” to confirm, and you’re done.
RealtyJuggler retrieves the email addresses from each of the Contact records in my “Newsletter”
category, and adds them to my mailing list on MailChimp. RealtyJuggler even automatically filters out
any Contacts with invalid email addresses, spam complaints, or unsubscribe requests. Please note: your MailChimp mailing list is
additive. I can choose some Prospects, or even choose all of my Prospects, and choose the same “Newsletter” list.
