on the Phnom Penh-Bavet Expressway project in detail for making result report which will be submitted to the government to consider for investment, according to Ministry of Public Works and Transport. H.E. Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister and Minister of Public Works and Transpor said that the study for detail has been made after the ministry and the Chinese company signed framework agreement on the project recently. He continued that the company has 18 months period to complete
the study of the 135 km expressway. The feasibility study on the Phnom Penh-Bavet Expressway conducted by JICA​ has been completed showing that

magnetic material engineering research center has raised its investment plan building construction
materials research centre in Cambodia. Mao Haibo, director of Sinosteel, raised up the investment plan in a meeting held on December 16 with H.E.Cham Prasidh,
Senior Minister and Minister of Industry and Handicraft. will relocate part of its video game console production operation to Cambodia from China,
under the ‘Made in Cambodia’ label. The move is seen as a response to US tariffs on products manufactured in China as part of an ongoing trade war between the world’s two largest economies. MinebeaMitsumi, who supplies videogame giant Nintendo Co,
will be upgrading its gaming device-assembling plant in Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone. Yoshihisa Kainuma, chairman of MinebeaMitsumi said that company will soon begin producing PSP games and Nintendo game devices under the ‘Made in Cambodia’ label for export to international market. During a meeting with Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia, Mr Yoshihisa said the company invested $327 million in the Kingdom last year. Prime Minister Hun Sen applauded the company’s plans and noted that the company will produce electronic devices that carry Cambodia’s name and

Chip Mong Noro Mall Opens Officially Chip Mong Retail officially launched Chip Mong Noro Mall under the presence of Khoung Sreng, Phnom Penh Governor on December 19. Stephane Pierron, acting director of Chip Mong Retail told that Chip Mong Noro Mall is five story building with utility of space of 17,900 square meter, and the company have selected exclusively commercial partners such as restaurants, luxury cinema, Chip Mong super market, and retail stores. Chip Mong Group Chairman, Lok Oknha Leang Khun
said that the design is focused on the combination of modernized building with nature to ensure
that customers have fresh feelings and fun, to suit as the mall situated in the heart of Phnom Penh. Chip Mong Retail invested on its all projects with US$300 million and the investment focuses on building and operation including supermarket, commercial center, malls, which generate jobs for Cambodians.
